Plutonic Love: 7th house, Venus, and Libra

“I need to have them–they are all I can think of–I can’t live without them; can’t imagine breathing without them!” Spoken from the Plutonic heart which lives in us all. With Pluto in the 7th, it is devastatingly emphasized–this foolish heart that cannot control itself.  Pluto involved with Venus makes us desire to sacrifice it all on the alter of Love–with our hearts as the centerpiece (next to the roses)–only to be let down by absence of our beloveds when the ceremony begins. Helplessness and pain drips into the heart. Longing and sad Love songs take up our time. We must avoid setting ourselves up, only to be let down.  Lets allow Jeff Green to illuminate:

Pluto in the Seventh House or Libra: emotional trauma can occur to these individuals for the following cause:
1. When life conditions occur in which they are forced to realize that the sense of purpose and meaning that they are looking for is not embodied in another person, but is within themselves. These individuals’ core sense of identity and security is bound up, linked with, the desire and need to be in intimate relationships. At key points in their lives these individuals will experience fundamental breakdowns, confrontations, or cataclysmic loss within their existing relationship. This has the effect of forcing them in on themselves in order to learn to grow from within themselves, not through and because of another person. The compulsion of co-dependency is shattered.
When Pluto transits the Seventh House, forms stressful aspects through transit to Venus, to the planetary ruler of the Seventh House, or to planets within the natal Seventh House it can generate such conditions within existing partnerships with the subsequent trauma.

The greatest remedy for Pluto is Libra?: Playing it cool…

Love’s blossom can always fade quick if you are looking for it outside yourselves.  If Pluto is transiting through your 7th house, be carefull.  No need to fall so fast you hit your chin–its a better idea to just play it cool.  Never invest your own Soul for another until they have done the same for you.  Don’t be a Fool; don’t obsess.  It is exactly what Pluto wants from you.  Avoid it at all costs.  Become aware of this emotional Need, and use any weapons you got against the possession: mantras, visualizations, sheilds, armors, or venusian heart protecters. Its vital you are proctected and aware of the Summoning of Plutonic Love.  It will get you every time if you watching close.

When understood (the true power of this combo), we can sink into the mysterious depths of Tantric Love and complete and seamless Union with another.  The Soul Reunion is then complete.

Pluto destroys our routine: in the 6th, Mercury, or Virgo

We now discover the need to “hold it all together.” In the 6th house, we try our best to keep our lives in proper working order.  This includes our bodies, as well as our ‘outer’ lives.  Virgo, of course, relates to Service, Health, Healing, and Work, yet, there is something underlying these popular manifestations of Virgo, and it is Guilt.  Mercury involved with Pluto–like we saw with the Gemini–has to do with the Mind, and how it interacts with its surroundings.  Pluto creates trauma to our Rational Minds, it melts our Logic, and gives desperation and the fiendish need for the reason WHY (we must reorient ourselves).  WIth the Virgoan side of Mercury, Pluto steals away our sense of control.  Anxiety runs high here when unfortunate circumstances interfere with our tidy lil’ world; like when kids track mud, or you find out you have cancer spreading in your gut.   Without another word, lets allow Jeff Green to briefly illuminate:

Pluto in the Sixth House or Virgo: emotional trauma can occur to these individuals for the following causes:

1. When life conditions occur in which the individual experiences an intense lack of meaning, or when their life conditions become meaningless. This sense of lack, of an existential void, generates a total state of crisis. This crisis is one of feeling totally displaced on an environmental basis, and a sense of acute inner aloneness in which they can feel victimized by the life conditions that they are experiencing.

2. When life conditions occur in which the individual feels intense persecution or criticism of an unjust nature. Not being able to understand why these conditions are contracted generates the trauma.

When Pluto transits the Sixth House, forms stressful aspects to Mercury, or to the planetary ruler of the Sixth House, or to planets in the natal Sixth House these issues and subsequent traumas can occur.

Funny, but one thing Jeff fails to mention in this one, is the importance of Health.  In my practice, I have witnessed dozens of charts, in which people experience illness and healing crisis when Pluto is involved with this Archetype.  As an example, Pluto transiting though the 6th house. 9 times out of 10, I see some sort of serious health problem emerge during this time.  The purpose of this terrifying process, is to gain a greater appreciation and understanding of the body–and of life, in general.  Lots of these folks go on to become remarkable healers.  Another signature could be Pluto in the 6th house natally, and Saturn comes along via transit.  This too can cause lots of health issues. Or Pluto transiting over Mercury would be another potent example. The correlation between Health, Guilt, and Healing is a rich topic, and I feel all the fine strands of this dark and shimmering web lie in your own inquisitive mind.  If you or anyone else you know is experiencing this Plutonic event currently, make sure they know what is happening.  Enlighten them about the underlying cause of their ills.  Sometimes an Astrologer has just what it takes to dispel all the mistakes of the Mind.  Sometimes, this is exactly what someone needs.  Who said Astrology wasn’t healing?

Pluto solidifies in the 2nd

…continueing our journey around the zodiac holding Pluto’s cold hand, we arrive to the 2nd house, Taurus, and Venus.  The Archetype which relates to own Value System, our Self Worth, and our sensous Bodies. Always remember, wherever/and whatever Pluto is doing in your chart shows our Deepest sense of Emoitonal security. To protect ourselves from feeling vulnerable, Pluto (in us) creates dark and shadowy versions of “self” that go to battle with the world.  The problem is, its usually destructive to both ourselves and others.  And so, we must understand these Shadows, these Demons, and give them some Love and Understanding. Jeff Green illuminates Pluto in the 2nd:
1.When life conditions are created that have the effect of forcing these individuals to evaluate their value system, and how these value systems define their sense of individual identity and meaning. Cyclically forced to reevaluate their meaning and values these people discover ever deeper levels of resources within themselves that creates new or refined values that allows them to relate differently to themselves and others. The will to survive is strong here and intense emotional trauma can occur when this will to survive and carry-on becomes weakened. Yet, the survival instinct is so strong in these folks that it does enforce the deepening of an inner awareness so that new values and ways of relating can emerge.
2. When their will to dominate another(s) is met with equally or stronger wills that have the effect of generating intense confrontations that require the individual to grow beyond his or her existing reality, and ways of being. These confrontations call into play the nature of the individual’s motives, intentions, and emotional agendas in such a way that the light of honesty creates harsh yet necessary realizations about the truth of their emotional reality and dynamics.
When Pluto transits the Second House, forms stressful aspects through transit to Venus, or to the planetary ruler of the Second House, or planets within the natal Second House these issues and subsequent traumas can occur.

….I love these descriptions.  Eternal props to Jeff for this invaluable information!

These are people who horde food, pinch pennies, cut coupons, steal, and become addicted to “things” in terribly intense ways.  Like in the 1st description, the Survival instinct is so powerful, anything flies if the circumstances are right. Now, as Dana requested in the last post: “How can we deal? How can we work with this stuff?” Well…

Transformation is the buzz word for Pluto, and it is the answer too.  By experiencing these limitations and traumas induced by Pluto, we are forced to retract and turn inwards.  By doing this, we have a choice: We can either change, or suffer…choosing the latter is the route to healing.  When we decide to face our limitations (Pluto), we can finally make it work.  And once we do, we gain a Power we never knew existed.  Little deaths, by and by, never make us cry–to much.

Rx:

Breathwork, Regression therapy, working with the Tarot or Astrology, taking in sacred Plants in sacred ways, Near Death experiences, psychotherapy, cleanses, and colonics can all help when Pluto is raging in your life. Happy travels!!!
