The Solstice marks a ________?

Currently, I am in the spill over zone of the vortex of a major move.  Picking up, and moving to Hawaii, is a long awaited event in my karmic resume, and my attempt to keep up with everything (blog, podcast, emails..) has turned out to be quite overwhelming.  And so today, on this lovely Solstice, I have decided to press the Pause button.  Until the whirlwind energies of this move and the Grand Cross have settled, I will be surfing with dolphins, climbing coconut trees, and watching the stars and planets closely for the days of tomorrows.

…and like I have mentioned in previous posts: This blog isnt just for me.  I invite everyone who enjoys writing out their divine inspirations–whatever your modality or way of seeing may be.

wOrds…(A GEMINI LESSON OF THE DAY)

They have power.  It is said, words create the world.  In many traditions around the globe, the word is the most sacred THING.  In this neo-Blogging world, a beautiful and confused form of expression is coiling. Within it, I sometimes wonder how conscious we are about the power of the “word.” Huaolelo, a traditional Hawiian saying, loosely translates into: Words create fruit…

…if you have a story, share it;

…..if you have something bad to say, tear it;

…….if you have a story, but it has a chance to fall on deaf ears, wear it.

Never be afraid to speak your Truth. And in the same breath, never be afraid to hide it.  Words have power.  If they fall on deaf ears, or cynical ones, it probably best to allow them to marinate.

More of an adventure…

Yesterday, for the New Moon, I planted a seed….

A metaphorical seed, of course. I want to watch it grow like bamboo.  What was my intentional seed?: To be more adventureous: like Water. It’s not that I wasnt adventurous already, my intention had subtle undertones.  It involves my approach to Astrology, this Blog, my teaching, and also the Podcast.

I have always had trouble fitting into the “astrology world.”  Sometimes I feel like I don’t “know” enough, or that I’m not technical enough with my presentation of the material.  There is a feeling that I am taking shortcuts.  And then I had an “enlightenment” yesterday which blasted these pesky demon thoughts out of my mind. I realized, its not about having mountains of technicial information, its more about Exploration and Healing.  Tension released from my body and mind, and I felt a resurgance of energy inside. I had found some sort of key, and I cannot wait to see what it unlocks.

Life is funny like this.  LIttle did I know, I have been doing it all along. This “seed” (Exporing Astrology podcast etc…) has been growing without me being fully aware of it.  I also made a vow with the last podcast that I would do them all outside from now on.  Even when I made that vow, I was unaware of what I was really creating.  I feel like I’m getting closer to my true creative expression with astrology.  No longer will I hold my stories back, or the stories of others.  In fact, all the stories that I am blessed enough to share with you, I will.  This is going to be the neo-form of both the podcast and this blog.  Sharing all mystical/coincindental/syncronistic experiences through the astrological lense.  Only then, will it truly be “Exploring Astrology,” or “aKosmic Mind.” It becomes an ecstatic learning experience…

Also, I want to make aware, that this blog, isnt just astrological–it can be yogic, or inspirational, or involved with any health and healing.  I want to create a space where “kosmic minds” can gather and share their experience.  If you like to share, if you like to write, please email me, or post on here, and we can make you an author.  You can be a part of the beginning of a truly authentic and inspirational blog, that is really only related to One thing: the Path towards greater understanding: the Path into the Divine.

FloOded by a thee Taurus moON

…it all started like a Tom Robbins weather report: ‘it was a sort of languid and retired morning, no animals felt like moving, birds we not singing their songs.  Walking by the Boulder creek, towards my favorite meditation spot, I stop to take a pee.  As soon as I begin, over a dozen people appear through the clearing. They were pointing and looking at the river.  Startled, I covered up, and walk away. As I climbed out of the soggy grey cottonwoods, I was accosted by a female cop, just doing her job (she was beautiful…an important, yet pointless detail I suppose.  But perfect for a Taurus moOn).  She tells me I cannot be down there.  I innocently reply, “Well, whhhhY not.” (all the while thinking its about indecent exposure, or something).  She says, “Its about to flash flood;” I fire back, “the 100 year flood…?” She crosses her fingers, and give a hestiant smile: “hopefully not.” I made it as far as the library before I got kicked out of there too.  Flood paranoia!!!

It is said the moOn is “exalted” in Taurus.  Meaning it is powerful within this sign.  The waters of Luna surge, the mind and emotions, are more potent.  Assisted by the Grand Cross, and the movement of Jupiter/Uranus into Aries, this Taurus mOon seems to have recieved an extra boost in Boulder town.  We are overdue.  This flood is past the 100 year marker, and it is expected any day now–or any minute.

…and so, I return home.  On my way, this Mississippi deta blues tune slides me into another frame of mind.  I become sullen and swept away.  I see an Aftrican Amercian homeless staple to Boulder, walking with his sack, with perfect posture, diligently moving away from the river.  It was a mini Epic of my day.  When I get home, my new tent awaits: its called the Neptune.  I set it up in the living room, and fall into a deep deep sleep, waiting for the floods.  I dreamt of Hawaii, and a new life.  I dreamt of Neptune. I felt like Alice, swept, but not completely away.

Ahhh, the Taurus moOn.  Whether exalted or not, I really like the way you Feel.

Russel Brand….(he won’t go away)

Everywhere I look: Russel Brand.  I didnt know if he was a rockstar, or a writer, or an actor, or what, until today.  The last straw came from a friends email, which had a link to an interview done by Letterman.  It turns out hes a little of everything, but mainly, he is a Sex-O-holic. An Ali’G like comedian, who distills his fame and women from being a Gong show.  On the Howard Stern show (and I’m sure in his “My Bookie Wook”) he tells tales of his bodyguards who had special roles for bringing him all the women.  He was rumared to sleep with handfuls a day–orgasms guaranteed..  Anyways,  I thought we all could peak at his chart.
