I had an interesting dream last night in which I was reading a friends chart and commented on the meaning behind her Mercury Moon Sun conjunction. I told her that “because these planets are so close to the Sun they cannot be seen- and that’s why you can’t see them”.

The dream was more of a personal message to her than anything else, but it got me thinking about anything that is conjunct the Sun. Unlike any other conjunction, this kind of conjunction is super unnoticeable. Even a planet that isn’t conjunct the Sun, but is still close, is engulfed in the “rays of the Sun”.

To me, this exemplifies the power of the Sun. It truly does not yield for any other planet. It’s master is the galactic center, to which it orbits. If you have a planet within the rays of the Sun, even if it isn’t conjunct- it’s function is yielded to a vast, all encompassing focus, greater purpose.

It’s uniqueness as an individual force is hidden as it gets lost in the brilliance of the light. This is likened unto jumping into the bon fire, yet remaining your unique essence while you become one with the creative majesty of the fire. Imagine Pluto jumping into the bon fire. Your desire is to OSMOS with that fire, to find the consuming light within you. Mars? You simply can’t stop the creative energy, your on fire, your on fire! Go with it, create, express, keep on going, discover your power!

The orbs of the Sun are sure unlike any other kind of Orb. Something to think about in your own chart for sure. Also, many folks have Mercury or Venus in the rays of the Sun, as these planets, from a geocentric point of view, never move to far away from the Sun for too long.
